There was a community forum held at the Cool Community Church on January 29th, 2020. Attached, you will find the handout which was given to all who attended. Some of the talking points included statements from Farmers Insurance stating that, if these campgrounds are added to the Auburn State Recreational Park, they would be forced to cancel fire insurance policies within the area. This is due to the increased fire hazard these campgrounds would invite.
